Thank You for Your Support in 2023

See you next year!

I am a writer at heart. It’s my first love. I’ve changed and added where I publish my writing over the years. This year, I learned about Substack - a newsletter platform where you can write exclusive content for paid subscribers and make money. In January, I decided to stop publishing on my website and only write here and on Medium. (*Update: I am blogging on my website again*) LOL. 

Some of you followed me here, and I’ve gained new subscribers along the way. I love the concept of Substack; although I’ve yet to make money, I don’t write for money. I write because I love it. I write because I feel that sharing my experiences, life lessons, opinions, and personal development content is worth putting in all the time and effort it takes to create, write, edit, and publish.

What keeps me going is you! My supporters, my subscribers, my writing community. The feedback I receive fills my heart and drives me to continue to write. Whether I receive texts, private messages, or emails, they make me say, “It’s worth it,” every single time. 

My goal is always to connect with one person for each post. And when I see people suggesting my newsletter on their social media, it brings tears to my eyes. Because this is my little corner of the big internet world where I can express myself and it’s actually connecting with you! 

So this letter is a thank you for your support on this journey! It’s almost been a year of writing on Substack. I’ve enjoyed it and can’t wait to see what 2024 holds.

There will be more personal posts coming next year that will be for paid subscribers only.
