Appreciate your reflections! In the last few years I feel like I've had a "word of the year" come to me, but I like how you're receiving the freedom to also let it not come and make peace with that!

Thank you, Liz. Yeah, it's definitely a change and I'm excited to see what happens. Do you have a word for this year?

I've been pondering the word "release"...not quite feeling like I know exactly what it means, but slowly pondering!

Congratulations! Especially for the Bible studies. I admire that. And the health goals too! That's not easy. I wish you continuance and a more blessed 2025!

My word of the year is cadence. ☺️

Thank you so much! I started exercising again on Monday after taking a 2 week break and it's like starting all over again, but I'm going to continue. And cadence, love it!!! Can't wait to hear how it plays out in 2025!!

I had more of a hard time coming up with a word for this year, but it came to me Christmas Eve. My word is "abide". Jesus said we are to abide in Him and He will abide in us. I'm coming out of a four-year battle with serious, crippling, depression and anxiety. There were times I was sure I was going to take my life in the last four years. Last year I started to find my way back to God. I asked him to heal me, and He did. I'm not saying I don't still struggle because I do. Anxiety is my biggest obstacle right now, but I know God did something for me that August day where I was at the end of my rope and begged Him to heal me. Abiding in God has been difficult. We have had issues in our family that made me believe God doesn't love me. If I don't continually abide in God, those feelings will take over again. Of course, there is so much more to this story, but turning back to God after many years of staying away from Him has made a huge difference in my life. I hope by abiding in Him that I will grow closer to Him.

Amen, thank you for sharing. I'm so glad that God has healed you, dealing with depression and anxiety is not fun at all. I'm glad that "abide" is your word for 2025. Can't wait to hear how it turns out in 2025! God Bless!
